​After a year of sharing wine with hundreds of guests through The Three Somms dinners, tastings and conversations it became clear that the feedback we all most enjoyed sharing wasn’t about flavors or vintages, but about how wine makes us all feel.

 

How wine fits into our lives. How it soothes us after a busy day, how it elevates an experience or a meal. How it is there for all the special moments and, in many cases, to make the moments special. A sip of wine, even when completely new to you, can transport you to a memory, a time and place or something you recognize but can’t quite put your finger on. It stirs emotion and discovery and excitement and becomes an experience in itself.

 

From these experiences and conversations, we have developed SOHM. The next step in our mission to connect people with wines they love.

SOHM has access to every bottle of wine available in the State, but has no stock to push, no preferences to sell, just a growing understanding of you, built bottle by bottle. You are the priority.

'Our first trials are done and have been a resounding success'

 

We are now opening just 10 onboarding slots for people who want to be part of shaping SOHM from the inside — a wine service built entirely around you. We focus on human language, lived experience, and the joy of wine, not tasting notes or trends.

Because we don’t carry stock and don’t buy in bulk, we have no agenda beyond finding the right bottle for you. We draw from over 12,000 wines across distributors, without bias or pressure to move inventory — only what fits your taste, habits, and moments.

What to Expect :

As part of the beta, you will complete a fun online 'Wine reflection check in' and then visit us here at Spofford lodge to do a nine flight wine tasting, where we will explore your preferences. After this delightful experience you’ll receive 6 wines tailored specifically to you, (for clarity that is 6 out of 12,000) delivered & wrapped for blind tasting with thoughtful pairing and setting prompts that turn drinking into an experience rather than a decision.

 

The cost is just $199, and the real ask is curiosity: you’ll share simple, natural feedback so we can keep learning and improving.

The goal is simple — to reach a place where we can deliver your ideal wine, when you want it, with no effort and maximum confidence, through a light, flexible monthly rhythm.
